What is Flexible GI Endoscopy?

In Gastro-enterology, a flexible endoscope is a small, flexible tube that can be used to diagnose and treat numerous GI pathologies. With endoscopy, doctors can diagnose conditions, clear blockages, remove new growths like polyps without invasive surgery. This results in less discomfort and a shorter recovery time for the patient.
